I have seen many pictures in cartoons of frogs on Lily Pads, but now I know that they really do love them!!

I was outside pulling weeds and Topher was mowing the lawn. Larry was edging the whole neighborhood and look what I saw lazing around in the pond?? I only saw these six frogs but Larry said that he had seen at least 12!!!


So of course, we are concerned that frogs in the pond are not all that great. I googled "Frogs in my pond" and discovered that not only is it a good thing, but also ways to lure frogs to your pond if you don't already have them!! Oh we have them................

Larry's Birthday

I spent about three days cooking so that Larry could have Lasagna and coconut cream pie from scratch. It was all worth it when I heard him exclaim "Oh that is pretty!" as I took them out of the oven. I had to fight him to take these pictures though........... Here is one of Topher's plate. Doesn't that lasagna look nice????

Thank You To My Great Kids!!!

There is nothing that I enjoy more than being a Mom. I have five great kids plus three great late additions.... and for my birthday they gave me a mother's ring. Well, this is the one I will wear until I get the littler version for my hand. Saha made it and I wore it to church today. All of the Primary kids just LOVED it!!! They have good taste. Thank you again James, Sarah, Lisa, Josh, Kari, Matt, Bryan and Topher. I love you very much!!!

Lauri is Officially OLD

So I am finally one half of a century old!! Here are few pictures to remember the event. Since Larry was out of town, three of my friends (Sharron Cathcart, Pam Giblett and Stephanie Anderson) took me out to Chili's for dinner. Of course I just hate that place..... LOL We sure had a good time!! Thanks girls.

Our Fish(less) Pond

This is our new patio, I think that it turned out pretty nice! Since this picture was taken, we added a hot tub. Larry's favorite evening activity.

We stocked the pond with 30 fish and I can't find even one! I suspect a stray cat.

This is our New resident. Bella and Aubree are in the process of giving him a name. I hope that he survives the winter!!

These are pictures from the first Saturday that they worked on the gardens. I can't seem to find the ones from the last day. If and when I do, I will post some of them. We had so much help, it was wonderful. Especially since the second Saturday was MEA weekend which means that the kids were out of school Thur - Mon. That is when many Minnesotins go on their last "hoorah". But Topher had 27 volunteers that day!! Woo~Hoo!!!
